From the Grütschalp cable car station, a broad gravel path leads in a steady slope to the edge of the forest and continues through a magnificent mountain forest. The gate to the alp pastures also opens up spectacular views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountain chain on the opposite side of the valley. To the east, at the foot of the Männlichen chain, you can see the long-drawn-out settlement area of Wengen.

The hike can be done from either side. Choose your starting point – the return journey by train is included in the ticket.
